Your information in this pilot
Saving a project, requesting help and receiving marketing are separate choices.
What we collect and why
Your full postcode and property address support the project assessment. Property details, dimensions and stage support the budget and next-step guidance. Saving associates that information with your signed-in account; its account identifier controls access. Contact details and preferences are used when you request a service or send a message. Photos, plans and quotes are optional.
Before saving, your other answers remain in this tab. Postcode lookup sends your postcode to Postcodes.io and supported government planning/council services. It does not send your typed street address or contact details to those lookup services.
Who can access a project
You can access your own saved project. The authorised team can access it once you request help, along with its uploaded documents and service brief. Requests are not automatically sent to outside professionals. Original quote documents remain private. Uploaded file checks do not constitute an antivirus scan or professional certification.
Submitted general messages, professional applications and earlier beta enquiries are available to the authorised team. The hosting service processes account and storage information to run the site.
Email and marketing
A requested estimate email, when delivery is configured, is sent to your signed-in email address. It contains the estimate and a link to the complete protected project. Delivery is not currently connected in the pilot. If enabled using Resend, the sender, recipient and report content are sent to that provider. No marketing lists or advertising pixels are connected.
Retention and your requests
Refreshing clears unsaved answers. Saved projects, requests, documents and review history persist; closing the browser does not delete them. Automatic expiry is not yet configured. Use the contact form’s privacy option to request access, correction or deletion, quoting your project reference. The team reviews those requests; deletion is not instantaneous or triggered by the form itself.
Application events record changes and attribution for project handling. Aggregate action counts contain event names and dates, not form contents. With your optional analytics consent, we also record pseudonymous visit timelines, pages, calculator steps and actions to improve the service. These do not include typed answers or contact identity and are visible only to the authorised team. Analytics settings lets you withdraw future collection at any time. Journey events older than 90 days are purged on the next analytics request; this expiry does not apply to saved projects or service records. Read how browser storage is used.
